Tra Co Church

Tra Co Church is a Catholic Church of Hai Phong Diocese, located in Tra Co ward, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province. Tra Co Church was first built in the 19th century in the early years of Tra Co parish being established here. Due to the effects of weather and many wars, Tra Co Church has seriously degraded. The new church was built in 2017 and inaugurated in 2023 in the Gothic architectural style with many pointed arches, pointing towards the sky. The front of the Tra Co Church is designed to protrude with a high bell tower, pointed corrugated iron roof, and arched windows. Tra Co Church is a valuable relic of history, culture, and architectural art with the most beautiful and unique architecture in Vietnam and it becomes one of the tourist attractions when visiting Mong Cai.
